Changelog

Current
v1.1.2
3. červenec 2026
Country and region detection is now accurate and personal on every page: you always see your own area, your manual choice is remembered as you browse, and re-selecting your country brings back the region detected for you.
Fixed
Every page now detects where you are connecting from and shows your own country and region automatically. Pages that could previously display another visitor's location — including the Countdown, the Date Duration Calculator, the Time Zones and the Leap Years pages — now consistently show the area that matches you.

Fixed
When you choose a country or region by hand, your selection is now reliably kept as you navigate from one view to another.

Changed
Selecting your country again resets the region to the one automatically detected for you, unless you pick a specific region yourself.
v1.1.1
2. červenec 2026
A maintenance release. Several control-panel options that could quietly revert to their defaults now stay exactly as you set them — your week-numbering system, the full-day weekly planner, and the export paper size and orientation.
Fixed
The week-numbering system you choose in the control panel (custom, ISO 8601 and the other presets) now stays selected instead of snapping back to the default after a moment — so the custom option is fully usable again.

Fixed
The weekly-planner "full day" option now stays enabled when you switch it on from the preview panel, instead of reverting to its default.

Fixed
Your export paper size and orientation (A4/A3, landscape/portrait) are now remembered as you move between pages, rather than resetting on the next page.
v1.1.0
30. červen 2026
A feature release focused on personalisation and smoothness. The display settings you choose are now remembered between visits, you can manually select your region — with the correct regional holidays for the countries that have them — and several display details have been fixed.
Added
Your control-panel display settings — calendar appearance, week numbering, first day of the week, day-name abbreviations, long weekends and the planner view — are now remembered in your browser and restored on your next visit, so you no longer have to set them again every time.

Added
You can now select a region manually, in addition to automatic detection. For countries with regional holidays (for example Switzerland or Germany) you immediately see the correct holidays for the chosen region; the choice lasts for the current browsing session, then automatic detection resumes.

Changed
Loading is more responsive: the region and your preferences are applied immediately when the page opens, with no flicker or visible reloads.

Fixed
Fixed cases where the country shown in the menus, or the displayed region, could be wrong or fail to update when moving between pages; they now always reflect your location — or your choice.

Changed
Generated PDF and JPG export files are now removed automatically a short time after they are created.

Fixed
The countdown, leap-years and time-zone pages no longer incorrectly switch to the yearly calendar view after a page update.

Fixed
Fixed a calendar-shrinking issue that could appear in some views.

Fixed
Various minor stability and display fixes across desktop and mobile.
v1.0.1
27. červen 2026
A maintenance release that polishes the experience on phones and tablets and fixes a few issues. The daily calendar now fits the screen on phones, the control panel adapts to small screens, and a moon phase that could appear on two consecutive days has been corrected. It also aligns the responsive layout with the site theme and refines typography and spacing across the calendar, planner and holiday views.
Fixed
Fixed a moon phase occurring just before midnight (for example a first quarter at 23:57) that could appear on two consecutive days in the calendar; each phase now shows only on its correct day.

Fixed
Fixed the daily calendar on phones: the full day now fits the screen width, with no horizontal scrolling, and the hour column and times have been made more compact.

Added
Added a separate "Moon phases" option for the event list, independent from the one for the calendar grid, so moon phases can be shown in either place on their own.

Changed
Public holidays are now shown in bolder text in the calendar grid, making them easier to spot at a glance.

Changed
Reordered the long-weekend cards on phones so the key details come first and the mini-calendar appears last.

Changed
On phones the control panel now spans the full screen width for easier use.

Changed
Reorganised the control panel: options that do not apply to the current view are now shown greyed-out instead of hidden, the week-numbering controls moved under "Geographic area", and the event options are split into "Calendar grid" and "Event list".

Changed
Aligned the responsive layout breakpoints with the site theme for more consistent spacing on tablets and small laptops.

Changed
Refined typography and spacing across the calendar, planner and holiday views for clearer, more consistent text sizing.
